Terms that are natural for someone who has spent years in the industry can become a wall for a newcomer. VDA, CQI, FMEA, PPAP, run@rate… After a while, the focus shifts from doing the job to figuring out what everything is.

That’s why we’ve created this glossary of quality and audit terms. It’s not a typical dictionary: in addition to the definition of each term, we briefly explain what it means in practice and where it applies to auditing.
